At ID Cosmetic Clinic, Dr. Xu personally leads consultations six days a week (Mon–Sat) — every treatment plan and risk assessment is made by a physician, not a salesperson. The clinic is open all seven days (Dr. Xu rests Sundays; the team remains available).
In experienced hands, the same device can be used very differently — the settings, the protocol and the clinical judgment behind it matter as much as the machine itself. We treat device, protocol, physician judgment and long-term management as one integrated system, with every plan designed and delivered by Dr. Xu.
Every client is assessed in person by Dr. Xu herself: Wood's lamp analysis, dermoscopy, and Fitzpatrick skin typing. This is a full treatment-planning consultation — not a sales pitch.

We recommend bringing: ① Photos or records of any previous treatments ② A list of your current skincare products and/or prescription medications ③ Your allergy history and contraceptive or pregnancy history. Dr. Xu will take clinical photographs, perform a Wood's lamp analysis, and complete your Fitzpatrick skin typing. The full consultation is complimentary and takes 30 minutes.
It depends on the treatment type. Injectable treatments (Botox / dermal fillers) can often be performed on the same day as your consultation. Laser treatments that require pre-conditioning (Cyspera / sun protection / stopping retinoids) typically begin 2–6 weeks later. Dr. Xu will provide you with a complete timeline.
Pricing varies depending on treatment type, package, and combination plans. Single laser sessions generally range from CAD $300–600; injectables are priced per unit; combination packages are offered at a discount. OHIP does not cover cosmetic procedures. We accept HSA, Beautifi, and Medicard financing. Eligible medical expenses may qualify for a tax credit under CRA Line 33099.
If a treatment is not appropriate for you, Dr. Xu will tell you directly and recommend an alternative or refer you to the appropriate specialist. We never pressure clients. A complimentary consultation carries no treatment commitment.
Yes. Dr. Xu is fully bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese. Our team covers Mandarin, Cantonese, English, and Korean. All contracts, informed consent forms, and treatment records are available in both English and Chinese.
Aesthetic revision is one of Dr. Xu's core areas of expertise. She has managed 8,000+ complex revision cases, including filler migration, filler nodule formation, post-laser hyperpigmentation (PIH), and pigmentation worsening caused by incorrect laser protocols. An in-person consultation is required to assess your specific situation and develop a corrective treatment plan.
